Larry Weiss, CG Supervisor, Sony Pictures Imageworks
Larry Weiss is a CG Supervisor with over 30 years of industry experience in live-action visual effects and feature animation. Larry earned a Master of Arts degree in Computer Graphics from UCLA and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Computer Graphics from Syracuse University.
Larry began his career at VIFX/Video Image working on projects such as THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER and GHOST. During his career he has worked at various effects studios including, PDI, RGA/LA, Hammerhead Productions, Tippett Studio, Electronic Arts, Method Studios, MPC, and Sony Pictures Imageworks.
Larry’s credit highlights include: the Academy Award winning SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDERVERSE, SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME, THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE, MAZE RUNNER, TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN 1 & 2, STARSHIP TROOPERS, & BRAVEHEART
Larry is from New York and currently lives in Vancouver, BC. Larry is an active member of the Visual Effects Society.
